Jamodu guerilla advertising pays off

jamodu's guerilla advertising has paid off with literally comments drawn from our advertising during the current test series (thanks phil!). That's right, from 8.5 million viewers during the last match - more than the boredom that was BB - jamodu scores a direct hit for no money down. Figures Saatchi himself would be proud of.

For a small, negotiable sum, you could advertise your product here. It really is an exciting opportunity not to be missed - to be part of the craze that is currently sweeping the country - all supported by jamodu.

Any pictures of the current jamodu advertising campaign from jamsters would be greatly appreciated. If you're new to this emerging craze, trust me, it can only make more sense that the pastafarianism nonsense currently plying its evil trade on boing boing.

jamodu evangelists - I know you're out there - I have 25 gmail invites if you can prove your troubles (ok, not so exciting as they were, but hey, it's something for nothing and maybe you'd prefer google talk to skype. Maybe).

Big Brother Why Bother

Spent all day at work - literally every moment of the cricket missed and because of BB I'm likely to miss today at the test.

Not because I'm glued to it, but because it shunts Today at the Test to 01:20 - and I'm up at 06:00 tomorrow, so will miss it.

Eugine or Anthony?

Who cares.

Gemma does: http://spaces.msn.com/members/xxicedgemxx/Blog/cns!1pH3OjFy2thXXA1ulxhq7VuQ!117.entry

got the fastest technorati BB post after the eviction.

So why Jamodu?

...cos I sponsor the cricket.

Apologies for the delay in posting, no reasonable excuse to my regular readers. I see now that I head the google searches for Jamodu, which is always nice, and I hope to recieve further hits in light of my recent sporting sponsorship. After all I've hijacked that npower pitch banner and hope to reap all the rewards that brings.

Regret. I regret that I could have attended the fourth day of the second test match at Edgbaston but was persuaded not to go as it was "not worth the drive to see a couple of tail order batsmen".

Nice to see that Blogger haven't yet sorted out their Safari problems. Good old blogger.

Pope Dead; Prince Wed

Apologies to regular readers for my lack of posting in the past week - I've been away and had no internet connection that is relieable.

Highlights:
The Royal Wedding.
Literally hours of funless tawdry sycophantic nonsence. I honestly couldn't believe my ears when the phrase "finally declaring 30 years of love" was used by just about every commentator when the more appropriate "finally leagalising the illicit, adulturous affair that has cost lives (if you believe Al Fayed) and that has gone on for 30 years and only deemed possible after the Queen Mum snuffed it" was not mentioned.
No commentator remarked "There is Prince Charles' son, William...and his brother Harry" which was also a shame.

Pope's death.
Good that it delayed the travisty above causing some discomfort to all involved. Penny Juror commented on the BBC that the - multi-millionaire in his own right, heir to the British Throne, gets his pyjamas presented to him at night by his butler - Prince Charles - had undergone his own fair share of hardships in his lifetime. This nearly astounded me as much as Piers Morgan agreeing with her.
Can't wait for the media coverage of the conclave - as it is quite a no news story until the white smoke comes out of the Sistine chapel. I'm trying to find a webcam/live stream of said chimney so I can avoid all other media speculation. Any offers of assistance regular readers?

I now have ADSL, so will have to find other reasons for not posting.

Choices choices

Not doing my Google search capacity any favours, I'll mention the General Election (and not even link it to anything) to personify the lack of readership of this blog.

It transpires that I drove past a body the other day. Not unfamiliar I guess to the many people that live near hospitals, funeral homes or cemetaries etc. but this turned out to be a dumped strangled body of the murdered variety. I went past about 2 hours before it was found (down a country lane) and given that it was broad daylight, it is highly likely that it was there on my way home.

Funny how these things get you thinking. I have always liked to think that I'm well removed from that side of things, but when bodies turn up a few yards from where you slept the night before, well, it does make you think again. Rest in peace fella - sad as it may be, you probably lived the sort of life that would find it's end in an Essex ditch, but no one really deserves it.

Final thought: doesn't Ron Pearlman look "funny".
